A PERSONAL NOTE
I know what it’s like to feel out of control. I also know how to stop feeling that way.
MY APPROACH:
I like to keep things simple. My guidance comes mainly from experiences with real people and real life. My style is easy-going, open, and calm. I put my full attention into my blog, videos, courses, and events. I help you to look gently and patiently at tough circumstances, to see what tends to create the most distress. The goal is to feel better; to foster emotional intelligence and peace of mind.
As a professionally trained stress management facilitator, end-of-life doula, and advance care planning educator, I combine gentle guidance with practical skills to offer training services that promote peace of mind during times of physical, emotional, or spiritual strain. My greatest strengths are my organizational skills, calm nature, and ability to adapt to change.
Having previously held positions within both startups and Fortune 500 companies, I established A Quiet Mind, LLC one year after experiencing a series of life-altering losses. Later, while hosting an online talk show, I interviewed Patty Burgess, of Teaching Transitions and Doing Death Differently. We quickly formed a bond and began collaborating to create programs that reflect our shared passion for training and advancing the current state of healthcare. Your Voice Directives, a platform for delivering training expertise to advance care planners, is a result of that collaboration. More recently, we formed LifePath Learners as an umbrella company to house all the life-changing training, services and products offered as we combine our services. We help people prepare, cope, adapt, and thrive in a changing world, from mid-life to end-of-life.
