A PERSONAL NOTE
I have over 20 years experience as a social worker working with children, families, adults with mental health issues, and as a case manager and group facilitator with older adults.
I have had many clients die over the years along with extended family members and friends.
I find that many individuals have not thought about or planned for when they die nor have they discussed this topic with their spouse or family.
I am an organ donor on my driver’s license as I believe there is no greater mitzvah than assisting someone else if I can. If something of me can help another after I am gone, that is good!
